Independent developer Ammar Salem has release Audio Extractor 2.1 for iOS. The newly updated app offers iOS device users the chance to extract audio from any video stored on their Camera Roll, a voice changer, a BPM calculator, text-to-speech capabilities, and more.
Salem says the app is designed to be an all-in-one audio suite, offering users the opportunity to capture and play with audio. The “From Vidz” feature allows users to extract the audio from any video stored in their Camera Roll, and users can mark just the audio they want to capture, saving just what they need.
A Beat Calculator can quickly calculate the beats per minute of music form an iTunes library, or any music playing around you. The Voice Changer allows anyone to record their voice, or import songs, and apply a variety of fun effects. The Minion effect is one of my favorites.
GeTune Music recognition works just like the popular Shazam music identification service, listening to an identifying music that is playing around you. Once the song has been identified, the app displays the name of the song, the album it is on, and the artist that sings it. A quick tap of the results takes the user to YouTube to view videos associated with the tune.
The app’s Text to Audio feature allows users to type or paste text into the app, and have it read back to them. Users can adjust the speed, tone, and the accent of the voice playback.
A MemoTone memory game requires players to match the blocks according to the tone they’ll make. And finally, the app includes a pretty decent music player.
The Audio Extractor 2.1 is available for iOS devices, and is $2.99 in the App Store in the Utilities category. [GET IT NOW] An ad-supported “Lite” version is also available. [GET IT NOW]
