AT&T has launched a “Buy One Get One Free” promotion for a number of select smartphones. While the carrier’s promotional materials feature the Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5 and select other Samsung smartphones, the carrier is also quietly offering the deal on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
From today until December 31, 2015, AT&T customers who activate or upgrade to an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus on the AT&T Next plan, will receive wither a second iPhone for free, or a $650 bill credit towards the purchase of a larger capacity iPhone 6s or any iPhone 6s Plus model.
The $650 bill credit will be spread out over 28 or 30 monthly payments. Any down payments are due at the time of the sale, and the monthly bill credits will appear on the customers statement within 2-3 billing cycles.
The fine print reads:
