Apple on Thursday seeded the first beta of iOS 9.2.1 to its public beta testers. The release comes just one day after the company released the same beta to developers for testing.
Beta testers who are enrolled in Apple’s beta testing program will receive the iOS 9.2.1 seed over-the-air, after installing the proper certificates on their device.
The beta seed, which is a minor 0.0.1 update, likely focuses on performance enhancements and bug fixes for issues discovered since last week’s public release of iOS 9.2. MacTrast will let you know any official word on changes, with updates to this post.
Owners of iOS devices or Macs that would like to be a part of Apple’s beta testing program can sign up for the program via the company’s beta testing website. Users will gain access to both iOS and OS X betas.
