If you’re one of those people who put off their Christmas gift shopping until the very last minute, (and you know who you are), you’ll be happy to know that the Apple online store plans to offer next-day delivery on in-stock items purchased from their website on December 23rd.
According to Apple’s website, customers who place an order for an in-stock item by 2:00 p.m. on 12/23 will be eligible for free next day delivery.
If that’s not cutting it close enough for you, they’ll also offer in-store pickup for orders made at least two hours before closing on December 24. You can find out the holiday hours for your local Apple retail store using the Apple store locator tool on their website.
Next-day shipping is always available for the iPhone, but products such as the iPad, Apple Watch, Macs, and accessories are delivered via two-day shipping. If you order before 12/23, (but you won’t, will you?), orders can be delivered on time via Apple’s standard two-day shipping.
Just FYI, Apple’s usual extended holiday return policy is now in effect for most purchases from Apple, both in-store and online, in the U.S., Canada, and a number of other countries.
Most products and accessories purchased between November 1 and December 25 of this year are eligible for return until January 8, 2016, including the new Apple TV, Apple Watch, iPad Pro, iPhones, Macs and more. A list of ineligible items can be found here.
