Warehouse retailer Sam’s Club has begun accepting pre-orders for the new iPad Pro on its website, indicating a release date of Friday, November 13. An email went out to Sam’s Club members about the sale this morning.
Sam’s Club is accepting pre-orders for the 32 and 128GB Wi-Fi iPad Pro models in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold, but it is not selling the 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model. Sam’s Club is also selling the device at a slight discount, pricing the two models at $787 for 32GB and $937 for 128GB, compared to Apple’s pricing of $799 and $949.
As we reported earlier, a source told MacTrast that the iPad Pro would indeed be released on November 13th, instead of the much-mentioned November 11th date. The 11th is Veterans Day in the United States, which perhaps also indicates Friday might be a better launch date, unless you’re a victim of Triskaidekaphobia.
While it does seem that at the very least, we’ve narrowed the launch week down to next week, it isn’t known at this time if Apple will begin accepting pre-orders sometime early next week, or if the Pro will simply go on sale without benefit of a pre-order period.
Then there’s this info to throw into the stew:

This rumor stuff is fun, isn’t it?
The iPad Pro’s accessories, the $99 Apple Pencil, and the $169 Smart Keyboard, will also be available for purchase alongside the larger tablet. The 32GB base model of the iPad Pro starts at $799, with Wi-Fi connectivity only. 128GB storage models, models with LTE connectivity will also be available for a higher price.
