T-Mobile announced on Wednesday that it is making the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4 tablets available via its JUMP! On Demand upgrade program. Qualified customers can get either tablet on an 18-month lease, with the option to upgrade the tablet up to 3 times per year.
Payment options are as follows:
iPad Air 2
- 16GB: $26/month, $0 due upfront
- 64GB: $25/month, $99.99 due upfront
- 128GB: $24/month, $199.99 due upfront
iPad mini 4
- 16GB: $22/month, $0 due upfront
- 64GB: $21/month, $99.99 due upfront
- 128GB: $19/month, $199.99 due upfront
T-Mobile says the plan is a limited time offer, and of course can change at any time. Customers interested in buying an iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 4 via the JUMP! On Demand plan can call T-Mobile at: 1-877-500-6055 or visit a participating T-Mobile store in the U.S., or visit the T-Mobile website.
The usual small print applies, the customer must wither return the iPad in good working condition at the end of the 18-month lease, or they can pay off the remaining balance and keep it. If you cancel your wireless service, the remaining payments on the tablet immediately become due.
