With just a week to go until the official launch of the fourth-generation Apple TV, several channels have today been added to the current third-generation Apple streamer. The NBC, CBS All Access, and Made to Measure (M2M) channels are all now available on Apple TV.
The new NBC channel will allow customers to watch full episodes of NBC shows, including the Blacklist, The Voice, Chicago Fire, and more. While cable authentication is required for some features, all users can view some of the content without the need for authentication.
M2M is an Apple TV exclusive, focusing on fashion. The channel is run by talent agency conglomerate WME/IMG, and features short videos, interviews, and mini-documentaries about the fashion world.
THE CBS All Access channel offers access to the CBS All Access streaming service, which offers over 7,500 episodes of CBS shows on demand,. The service offers new episodes of shows the day after they air. If your local CBS affiliate supports All Access, you’ll be able to watch CBS shows live via the new Apple TV channel.
The new channels are currently available on the third-generation Apple TV, and will also be available on the fourth-generation Apple TV, due to officially launch next Monday.
