Apple on Wednesday seeded the fourth beta of OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan to developers and public beta testers. The release comes just one week following the release of the third beta seed.
The new beta – Build 15B38b – is available via the “Update” tab of the Mac App Store, and is also available for download on the Apple Developer Center. Apple also seeded OS X Server 5.0.15 beta 2, Build 15S4028, earlier in the week.
Apple has not announced any significant changes in what will be the first update to the recently released OS X 10.11 El Capitan operating system. The release notes merely asks developers to focus on Mail and Microsoft Office 2016.
While it isn’t known for sure what changes and updates are available in this most recent update, the first beta release of OS X 10.11.1 included new support for Unicode 8, including new emoji such as a taco, burrito, cheese wedge, middle finger, and a unicorn head.
