Apple continues to update its Apple Maps app with transit information, as it now includes multiple Amtrak routes in the Northeastern United States, as well as adding transit information for Boston, Massachusetts.

MacRumors:

Supported routes include the Northeast Regional, Acela Express, Keystone, Lake Shore Limited, Pennsylvanian, and Maple Leaf, many of which operate between cities in the Northeastern United States.

The Acela Express runs between Boston, New Haven, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC. The Lake Shore Limited runs from New York/Boston to Albany to Chicago, and the Maple Leaf runs from New York to Niagara Falls to Toronto.

Apple has also added transit information for the Boston area. The city was initially added to Apple’s list of supported cities earlier this month, but the list was later updated to say the city wouldn’t be included until some time this month.

Boston residents can now access directions for Amtrak, commuter trains, buses, and more. Sydney is expected to be the next city to have Apple Maps transit information go live.

Apple Maps transit directions are currently available in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and San Francisco.
