Bank of America has updated its iOS app to version 6.4, adding Touch ID sign-in and Apple Watch support for viewing balances, recent transactions, and alerts.

Thank you for your feedback! We’ve heard your requests and are happy to provide you with a new Mobile Banking app that supports:
- Touch ID
- Apple Watch
Here are some of the additional enhancements in this app release:
- The home screen has a new design and includes the ability to sign in using your fingerprint
- It’s easier to schedule an appointment with a specialist for help or advice
- Deposit your checks with confidence. Now you’ll see the digital check image immediately on the confirmation screen, along with your confirmation number.
Bank of America also updated its Android app to allow sign-in via an Android device with a built-in fingerprint scanner.
9to5Mac notes that Bank of America was a launch partner for Apple Pay, and reports that the bank has signed-up 1.1 million cards for Apple’s contactless payments service as of January of this year.
