Apple Watch Named Gadget of the Year at UK’s T3 Awards

Apple did quite nicely, thank you at this years T3 Awards, one of the biggest consumer technology events in the U.K. The Cupertino firm brought home awards for its Apple Watch & iPad Air 2, and also won the Brand of the Year Award.

Gizmodo UK:

… the company took home the most awards of the night with the iPad Air 2 picking up Best Tablet, and the Apple Watch winning both Best Wearable and Gadget Of The Year. Apple itself won Brand of the Year.

“Once again Apple have produced a product that has galvanized a market. In a year of outstanding new products, this stood out to all of the judges and voting public as THE outstanding tech of 2015,” said Rob Carney, Editor of T3. “The tech and fashion media have nothing in common, yet both enthused about Apple Watch. That says it all about this high-style, high-tech, highly personal device. It’s a worthy winner of the 2015 Gadget of the Year.”
