Apple on Wednesday seeded the second beta of IOS 9.1 to developers. The release comes two weeks after the first beta of iOS 9.1, which came immediately following Apple’s big iPhone and iPad event.
The new beta – build 13B5119e – is available both as an over-the-air update and via the Apple Developer Center.
OS 9.1 adds support for the upcoming iPad Pro, including support for the SmartKeyboard, and Apple Pencil. Both accessories, and iOS 9.1, are due to be released alongside the new tablet in November. iOS 9.1 also includes support for Unicode 8, with “important” new emoji, including a taco, a burrito, unicorn, hot dog, and more. While iOS 9.1 is currently only available to developers and members of the public beta program, it is expected to be released to the public in November, alongside the iPad Pro.
