SCOSCHE Announces boomBOTTLE+ Rugged, Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker

SCOSCHE later today will announce the release of its new boomBOTTLE+ rugged, waterproof, Bluetooth portable speaker that can withstand the harshest of conditions, while delivering impressive sound via large 55mm drivers and two passive radiators.

The boomBOTTLE+ boasts a durable shock-absorbing TPU exterior, and sealed dustproof speaker grills to keep dirt out. In addition to being waterproof, the boomBOTTLE+ also floats, making it idea for use around the pool, at the beach, or on a boat.

Features of the boomBOTTLE+ Include:

  • It delivers impressive sounds via large 55mm drivers and two passive radiators; its omnidirectional diffuser produces 360 degree immersive sounds
  • Its cylindrical shape fits in water bottle cages, making it perfect for cyclists who enjoy listening to music but don’t want their ears obstructed
  • Built-in 6000mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery provides 15 hours of playtime and charges smartphones and tablets while in use
  • Can be paired with another boomBOTTLE+ to amplify sounds
  • Available in sleek and sporty color combinations
  • Ideal for any boating, camping, biking, beach or any other rugged, outdoor activity

The speaker includes dual pairing capabilities to allow two boomBOTTLE+’s to play music in unison, creating true stereo sound. The speaker produces 360 degrees of sound, and the company says the speaker’s large passive subwoofer delivers “incredible” bass.

The speaker is said to be the perfect size for most bicycle cages, allowing bicyclists to listen to their favorite tunes while cycling, without the need for headphones that may block out warning sounds from the surrounding area.

The boomBOTTLE+’s offers a 6000mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, which the company says will provide up to 15 hours of play time. Users can also make use of the integrated USB port to charge their mobile devices.

The boomBOTTLE+ (plus) is now available for $179.99 at SCOSCHE.com, West Marine and select specialty retailers nationwide in black/gold, black/gray and a sporty blue/green combination.
