Here at MacTrast we receive a number of press releases each day for new apps from independent developers. We’ve decided to offer up one of these lesser-known apps each day, to give them some much needed exposure.
Today’s indie app is iPursue V1.2 – A Spontaneous Errands, Wish List and Tasks Manager App, a task manager/to-do list with a twist.
“Calendar management tools are great in tracking things like the schedule of your day. However, there are many more things in a routine that may not fit in traditional calendar management tool’s capabilities like tracking you need to do groceries today, sign up for a school registration, schedule an appointment, track your wish list, etc. The primary goal of iPursue is being effective in these areas and thus we sincerely believe that it’s a good complementary app to a calendar management tool.”
iPursue offers a unique way of organizing items into the following:
Each view offers up the tasks, highlighting the most important ones. A toolbar makes it easy to act on individual items, allowing users to edit or copy the item, or mark it complete. iPursue also offers management features such as searching, archiving, and editing of notifications. A new dashboard function allows users to stay on top of the items that need attention. While iPursue offers several commonly used categories, users can also add their own customer categories.
iPursue 1.2 is $0.99, and is available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in the App Store. [GET IT HERE]
