Apple announced on Wednesday that its latest version of Boot Camp, just released as a system update for OS X Yosemite users, now supports 64-bit versions of the Windows 10 operating system.
In a support document, Apple offers instructions for installing a fresh copy of Windows 10 via Boot Camp. The document also covers how to upgrade from previous versions of Windows. Users will be required to use an ISO file of the Windows 10 installation DVD to install the new OS.

Boot Camp 6 is currently rolling out to users, and may not yet be available in all areas. Users can check to see if the update is available for them via the “Update” tab in the Mac App Store.

Apple earlier this week released a pair of minor Boot Camp Support updates for running 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
