Apple on Sunday released a trio of new ads, focused on how the Apple Music streaming service helps listeners discover artists, via its Connect social network.
The first entry highlights a number of artists, both well known and unknown. The 60-second spot ends with the tagline: “All the artists you love and are about to love. All in one place.”
Two other ads are both 30-second spots, each focusing on a specific artist. The first one, shown here, features James Bay, while the second spot, also shown here, features Kygo.
All three ads are shot in black & white, shot in black and white and all end with the new “All the artists you love and are about to love. All in one place.” tagline, but the artist ads focusing entirely on the artists’ work, with no spoken words and then briefly overlaying a representation of their Apple Music pages with their Connect blog feature highlighted.
The new ads come as Apple has increased promotion for the new music service. Recently Apple began an ad campaign for the service with billboards, and posters in bus shelters and subway stations, Last week, it debuted posters that can be scanned using Shazam to take the user straight to an artist’s Apple Music profile.
