Apple on Tuesday seeded the first beta of OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 to developers. The release comes just two weeks after the public release of OS X 10.10.4. As OS X El Capitan 10.11 is also in developer and public beta release, this may be the last update of any significance to OS X Yosemite.
The new OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 beta release is build 14F6a, and can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center.
At this point in time, we don’t know what is new in version 10.10.5, but it likely consists of changes intended to improve stability, compatibility and security. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
