Chase Bank has added Touch ID support for its iPhone banking app. The new feature, first noticed by 9to5Mac, allows users to login to their checking or savings accounts via their fingerprint.
After the app is updated, it will inform users of the new feature, asking if they’d like to use it. If the user approves, they will be able to login to the app with just a touch of their finger to the iPhone or iPad Touch ID sensor. (The Touch ID feature is only available on the iPhone version of the app, the iPad version has not yet been updated.)
Chase notes that some features of the app will still require users to enter their password, however the new Touch ID feature should usually make logging in much faster.
The app also adds support for the larger screen of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The Chase app is free, and is available in the App Store. [DOWNLOAD IT HERE]
