We gave you a preview awhile back of Comma Charger’s new BBC – Big Black Cable, the 10 ft., thicker and longer than normal MFi certified charging cable for iOS devices. You’ll be glad to know the Big Black Cable campaign is finally up on Indiegogo, and it’s worth checking out.
We’ll give you a little mini-review of the BBC first. Short story: We love this cable! We’ve had the Big Black Cable in our possession for a couple of weeks, and we have to say, it’s a quality product.
The BBC doesn’t tangle like many cables we’ve used in the past, and the BBC is a high-quality cable from one tip to the other. The braided cloth cable looks to be durable, (Comma says it is 38% thicker), and we’re expecting it to stand up to quite a bit of use. It had better, because it’s become our daily-use cable.
The 10 foot length of the BBC is a welcome feature, allowing my wife and I to charge our iPhone or iPad no matter where we’re sitting in our living room. Now we just need to get our hands on a second one so we’re not always fighting over the cable.
The BBC is available on Indiegogo, and as is the norm, they’re offering different levels of “perks” for the cable. Plus, if you pre-order the cable on Indiegogo, and share the campaign on Facebook and/or Twitter, you’ll receive a free iWoody Premium wall charger that will work great with the BBC.
The Big Black Cable campaign has a month to go on Indiegogo, and we highly recommend you head on over to the site and check it out. The BBC will come in handy where all those other cables have come up short!
Visit the Big Black Cable Indiegogo page for more information and to pledge to get your own BBC.
