iDevices, makers of the popular iGrill and Kitchen Thermometer devices, announced on Monday Apple Watch support for the iDevices Connected app. The Connected app allows users to monitor the temperature of their food from iDevices connected devices.
While the iDevices Connected app has always allowed users to monitor their food as it cooks, freeing them from the drudgery of being locked to their stove or grill while cooking, the new Apple Watch features of the app will allow users to view an overview of real-time cooking temperatures, and also allows them to preset the temperature goal for whatever is being cooked.
Users gain quick access to a graph showing the complete details of the temperature progression as they cook, and will also receive an alert on the Apple Watch when their food is ready! (Luckily, you’ll still get to eat the food using the old-fashioned method, as iDevices hasn’t as yet figured out a way for the Apple Watch to eat the food for you. -Ed.)
The iDevices Connected app is available FREE for iOS devices and the Apple Watch in the App Store. [DIRECT LINK]
