Apple on Thursday updated their Apple Store app for iOS. Version 3.3 adds additional support for Touch ID, as well as two-step verification.
While Touch ID support was previously limited to Apple Pay for making purchases, version 3.3’s expanded support allows users to enable Touch ID for viewing orders, viewing EasyPay receipts, and making reservations at the Apple Store.
What’s New in Version 3.3
– Use Touch ID to view orders, access EasyPay receipts, and make reservations at an Apple Store.
– Support for two-step verification, giving you extra security for your Apple ID.
The new Touch ID support should make accessing the various parts of the app much easier, by replacing the previous requirement of a password with the fingerprint-based option.
The update also added support for two-step verification, giving added security to the app.
The Apple Store app is free and is available for iOS devices in the App Store. [Visit the App Store.]
