The announcements of Apple Watch apps continue to roll in, as developer Cynapse has announced Numerics, which allows you to track business metrics on your Apple Watch.
Cynapse says the core purpose of Numerics is to aggregate and present numbers and business performance indicators relevant to the user from various cloud services. Putting these numbers on the user’s wrist has been the obvious next step. The quick micro interactions with the watch are perfect for consumption of the bite sized information presented by Numerics.
“Since the invention of wristwatches we have been glancing at them to track time; a changing number thats universally important to everyone. We created Numerics for the Apple Watch because we believe the logical step for a smart watch is to enable its user to track other changing numbers that are more personal and uniquely relevant to the user,” said Apurva Roy Choudhury, CEO, Cynapse.
Users can use the iPhone version of Numerics to select which metrics are to be shown on the Watch, also setting up alerts as changes are updated. All metrics can be set as a “glance” on the Apple Watch, so information is just a swipe away.
Numerics also allows a deeper look at metrics, as any information a user is looking at on the Watch can be zoomed in for a closer look on the user’s iPhone.
Numerics for the Apple Watch will be available in the Apple Watch App Store on launch day. The Numerics iOS app is already available for download in the App Store. The app is free, with in-app purchases available for app widget packs.
