Today is a big day for Apple Watch fans, as pre-orders started at 12:01AM Pacific Time this morning, try on appointments begin, and the Apple Watch goes on display in Apple Stores.
One of our London readers had an Apple Watch appointment at the Selfridges Apple Watch Shop, and he was kind enough to take some photos.
But first, the fine folks at Nomad have shared a few photos that one of their guys took at the Apple Store in Shenzhen, China.
Nomad makes the very cool Stand for Apple Watch stand, and Pod for Apple Watch charger. You can find out more about both products here.
MacTrast reader Stuart Scott has an appointment to try-on an Apple Watch today at Selfridge’s Department Store in London, and he’s been sharing some photos with us. The first batch are from the London Regent Street Apple Store, showing the front window display, and some shots of the inside. Wow! What a crowd!
Stuart reports, “They have added real trees and full length floor to ceiling mirrors. This store is mainly for people trying on the watch as there isn’t much viewing space.” (Seen below.)
Stuart is same gentleman who has a great idea for those that aren’t ready to jump into the deep end of the smartwatch pool, it makes your current watch smarter! It’s called digitocks, and you should check it out when you get the chance! Thanks for all the pics Stuart!
We’ll keep posting photos as they come in. If you have photos you’d like to share, just send them to hello@mactrast.com. Be sure to include your name, so we can credit you, and tell us which store they were taken at. Also, let us know which Apple Watch/band combination you liked best.
