Apple has released an updated version of iTunes, version 12.1.2. The update improves support for syncing photos from iOS devices to the new Photos for OS X app.
The update allows iOS users who still sync and update their devices via iTunes to sync their device’s photos to the new Photos for OS X app which debuted with Wednesday’s OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 update.
Release notes for the update also list “several refinements” for the Get Info window. Overall stability is also listed.
The update is available via the “Update” tab in the Mac App Store, or via download from the Apple iTunes website.
