Popular website AppAdvice has launched a new site, WatchAware, that offers a number of features, including an interactive look at a number of apps that will run on the soon-to-be-released Apple Watch.
The websites WatchApps section serves up a selection of apps, displayed on a mockup of Apple’s upcoming wearable device. The interactive previews offer different views for “Apps,” “Glances,” and “Notifications.”
Many of the app previews display the same imagery Apple used when showcasing the apps at the Apple Watch announcement back in September 2014. While many of these apps may have gone through some changes since last fall, the site still provides an excellent preview of how these apps will work on the Apple Watch.
The WatchAware site currently provides previews for such popular apps as Twitter, Facebook, American Airlines, Apple’s own Maps app, Feed Wrangler, and many more. And of course the site includes the obligatory “fart app” in the form of FartWatch.
The website plans to add more apps as they become available, notifying readers of additions to the list via the @WatchAware Twitter account.
The WatchAware site also includes a number of informative news and features articles of interest to Apple Watch enthusiasts.
