While we’ve seen Apple and its products attacked in numerous ads and promotions, a recent “Apple is a Nazi” posting by a Chinese Android smartphone company has to be the worst we’ve seen.
LeTV has posted to Weibo a poster likening Apple to Nazis, a red Apple armband replacing the Nazi logo.
The obvious intent of the ad is to promote the “freedom” of Android, compared to Apple’s iOS which is rigidly controlled. But geez, LeTV… Nazis?
The graphic was first spotted by The Verge when it was posted to the verified Weibo account of billionaire CEO of LeTV, Jia Yueting.
