BetterWorks, a firm that offers project-tracking and collaboration service for small businesses, has announced their BetterWorks app for the Apple Watch.
“Our motivation behind building the BetterWorks Apple Watch app is simple: showing real-time goal data on a wearable device is a powerful, yet lightweight way of informing our users – especially busy executives – about the progress of their goals, without interrupting the work at hand.”
The app will allow users to get a quick snapshot of where their current goals stand, add short check-ins, and even allow users to cheer on co-workers for meeting goals.
The new Apple Watch app will also allow team members to quickly get an view of what they should be doing. The app will also display messages from other members and managers of the team, while providing a project-tracking and collaboration system.
BetterWorks hired former Senior Director of Engineering on the Siri and iTunes Radio teams at Apple, Jonathan Cheyer, as their new Head of Engineering to lead development of the BetterWoks app, scheduled for a mid-year release.
We’ll share more information about the app upon its release, later this year.
