The Apple Watch is due to hit store shelves just under a month from now, and Apple Watch-enabled apps are beginning to show up in the iOS App Store.
Apps that include Apple Watch support include MLB.com At Bat, Evernote, Target, and a number of others.
Apple Watch apps are included in iPhone apps as the iPhone drives the app while a UI is displayed on the Apple Watch. While apps that run completely on the Apple Watch are on the way, they won’t be here in the first wave of releases.
iPhone apps with Apple Watch support include:
- Babbel – Discover words as
you go about your day. Easy and practical exercises let you collect relevant words on your wrist.
- Dark Sky – Get notifications and check out the weather for the next five days with the Dark Sky app built from scratch for Apple Watch.
- ECB Cricket – Live matches are displayed and easily navigated by swiping between match screens. Features full scorecard information, including batting line ups and bowling attack. Force touch the scorecard to enable push notifications for your favourite matches. Apple Watch Notifications provide live information straight to your wrist whenever a wicket falls.
