If you’ve been chomping at the bit to try out Apple’s new Photos for OS X app out, but you aren’t a developer, today is your lucky day, as Apple has released a beta of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 to the public, including the Photos app.
All registered members of Apple public beta testing program should be able to download OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, build14D87p via the Mac App Store.
The build, number14D87p, is a slightly later build number than the 14D87h developer seed Apple released last week.
As mentioned, OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 includes the new Photos for OS X app, which will replace Apple’s venerable Aperture and iPhoto apps upon its final release.
OS X 10.10.3 also includes a redesigned emoji picker that is organized into categories, as well as new diverse emoji and emoji skin tone modifiers. Other emoji have been updated to resemble current and future Apple products, including the iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch.
