Apple has added nine new cities to its 3D Flyover feature in Apple Maps. The feature offers high resolution 3D imagery of certain cities.
The nine new locations are:
- Baton Rouge, LA
- Boise, ID
- Edinburgh, Scotland
- Cáceres, Spain
- Guadalajara, Mexico
- Ponce, Puerto Rico
- Venice, Italy
- Linz, Austria
- Rennes, France
Apple added 11 new locations in an update last month, including:
- Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
- Amarillo, TX
- Arecibo, Puerto Rico
- Beziers, France
- Brno, Czech Republic
- Cittadella, Italy
- Clermont, France
- Hamburg, Germany
- Helsingborg, Sweden
- Liverpool, England
- Odense, Denmark
Apple has a full list of supported 3D flyover locations on its website.
To use the flyover feature, start Apple Maps on your iOS device, and go to a city that has 3D flyover support. Turn on Satellite or Hybrid view, then tap the info button and choose Show 3D Map. You can now zoom in and scroll around to enjoy the 3D view.
