Cydia Creator Jay Freeman (saurik) has tweeted that the jailbreak for iOS 8.0 to 8.1 is now “stable enough” for use.
If you are waiting to jailbreak your iOS 8.0-8.1 device until things are "stable enough": we now seem to be ready! ;P http://t.co/XRUU74p7i8

We first saw a developer version of the jailbreak last month, with a user version released a week later, complete with Cydia installer. The installer is Windows-only, but it’s an untethered jailbreak, so once it’s done you won’t need to reconnect to a PC following a reboot …
The jailbreak is compatible with any iOS device capable of running iOS 8.
As alway, keep in mind that jailbreaking a device puts you out there on the edge, making your device more vulnerable to crashes and security risks. And of course, it violates Apple’ End User License Agreement, and could possible void any warranty you have left on your device. Look both ways before crossing the street, and never take candy from strangers, even if they’re driving a really nice panel van.
The iOS 8/8.1 jailbreak is available for download from the Pangu website.
