If you’re still looking for a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you might want to check in at iStockNow.com. The site provides realtime availability of both devices in Apple retail stores in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia & the Middle East.
The service also provides stock info for Target, Radio Shack, and Best Buy stores, but that information isn’t updated in realtime.
The service provides a map, showing the locations of the various stores in each country, you can then narrow down the search to your area, and by iPhone model, storage, color, and carrier. Clicking on a location shown on the map displays a grid listing the availability of each model.
The service seems to work fairly well – MacTrast spot checked 10 or so locations in Southern California and the Midwest via the Apple Store online, and while the Apple Store doesn’t show the availability numbers, there were models available when iStockNow said there were.
There’s no telling how long this site will stay online, as Apple tends to get these types of sites shut down fairly quickly. However, while the site is up, it looks like it will be a good resource in your search for your new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
