Leaked screenshots of what is claimed to be a new version of Outlook that is to be part of Office for Mac 16 have appeared on Chinese site cnBeta, and ZDNet reports that its sources say Microsoft will be announcing the timing for its next edition of Office for Mac “very soon.”

The leaked screenshots show a OS X Yosemite look and feel, cnBeta reports the office suite will also offer support for Retina displays, and will also offer integration with Yosemite’s Notification Center. Microsoft is also expected to bring the suite’s functionality more up to par with the venerable Windows version.
As Microsoft recently began offering unlimited cloud storage to Office 365 subscribers, it should come as no shock that the suite’s cloud features are also reportedly being improved.
Microsoft Office for Mac was last updated four years ago.
