Apple Releases New iTunes 12 Beta for OS X Yosemite Users

Apple on Thursday released a new version of the iTunes 12 beta. The new beta is available to both registered developers and OS X Yosemite beta testers.

iTunes 12 includes what Apple calls an “elegant new design” and supports the new Family Sharing feature found in iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite.

The latest beta includes a new set of top bar icons, improved playlists, a redesigned info window, and a new icon. iTunes 12 is expected to be released alongside OS X Yosemite sometime in October.

The new beta of iTunes 12 can be downloaded by developers and OS X Yosemite beta testers via “Update” tab in the Mac App Store.
