Fortune reports analysts are predicting Apple will announce record sales and earning during today’s fiscal Q4 2014 earnings call. The analysts are expecting earnings per share to be up by 12% year-over-year.
Fortune’s Philip Elmer-DeWitt, via 9to5Mac:
I’ve got the collected fiscal Q4 estimates of 33 Apple analysts — 21 professionals and 12 amateurs. They are all to a man (and one woman) predicting record Q4 sales and earnings (up 7.1% and 11.9%, respectively).
Analysts also predict iPhone sales of of 38.89 million (up 12.1%) and Mac sales of 4.83 million (up 5.7%). However, they see less favorable numbers for the iPad, predicting sales falling by 6.5% to 13.17 million. iPod sales are also expected to continue their slide, with analysts expecting a 33.7% drop to a mere 2.32 million units.
