Just in time for the launch of Apple’s new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets, Verizon will be allowing early upgrades for customers who are eligible for an upgrade any time in the next two months. The program starts today, and will run for a “limited time.”
AndroidPolice, via 9to5Mac:
To be crystal clear about it: starting today, all Verizon customers eligible for a handset upgrade on or before November 15th 2014 are eligible for that upgrade immediately. It’s unlikely this offer will be widely-publicized, though – you’ll probably need to call and ask about it or go to a Verizon corporate store.
So far, this is the first we’ve heard on early upgrades from any of the other major carriers, but we’ll keep you posted as we hear anything.
