A new video allegedly shows the rear shell of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6. The video was published today by Nowhereelse.fr. The video is one of only a few leaks we’ve seen for the 5.5-inch model of the iPhone, while numerous leaks, photos, and videos have been seen for the 4.7-inch model.
The video shows a metal frame that looks similar to a rear shell that leaked last month, with thick antenna breaks, a round opening for the camera’s updated True Tone flash, a cutout for the Apple logo, and room for the rumored elongated volume buttons and side-mounted power button.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9. The new handsets are expected to include a fast A8 processor, a thinner more rounded body, and improved cameras on both models.
If Apple does debut a 5.5-inch model of the iPhone 6, it is widely expected that the company will stagger the release of the two sizes of the device, with the larger iPhone 6 seeing release near the end of the year.
Re/Code reported last week that Apple will also be introducing the much anticipated “iWatch” wearable device at the September 9th event.
