Apple apparently got in a groove with operating system updates today, as in addition to making iOS 8 available to the masses, they’ve also given some love to Mac users with the release of OS X Mavericks 10.9.5.
The update is said by Apple to bring a number of stability and performance updates. It brings better stability to VPN connections, and also stability for accessing files on SMB servers. Safari version 7.0.6 also comes along as part of the update.
OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 can be downloaded and installed via Software Update, or the “Update” tab in the Mac App Store.
