We’re a little over six hours in on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus preorders, and the Apple online store is already showing 3-4 weeks as a shipping estimate on all iPhone 6 Plus models on all carriers. Many iPhone 6 models are still showing September 19th as a delivery date, although some models have slipped to 7-10 business days.
Users reported technical problems when attempting to order from Apple’s online store for the first few hours, however the store seems to be back online now. U.S. wireless carriers AT&T and Verizon also were reported to have experienced some issues with customers preordering the handsets.
The iPhone 6 is available in 16, 64, and 128 GB capacities in the United States for $199, $299, and $399, respectively, and that’s with a two-year contract. No-contract pricing begins at $649. The iPhone 6 Plus is available in 16, 64, and 128 GB sizes for $299, $399, and $499, respectively, again with a two-year contract. No-contract pricing on the 6 Plus begins at $749.
