A new set of photos allegedly show the rear shell of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6. The photos, shared by Nowhereelse.fr (Google Translate), show what is purportedly a near-final rear shell and cover glass elements for Apple’s new flagship handset.
Notably, this newest component appears to have its rear bands colored in to fit with the rest of the device, perhaps suggesting that the different color options of the iPhone 6 will feature a similar treatment.
The new photos appear to be consistent with previous photos we’ve seen. The shell looks to have redesigned speaker holes, a rounded True Ton LED flash, along with the usual Lightning and headphone ports and rear camera.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9. The new handsets are expected to include a fast A8 processor, a thinner more rounded body, and improved cameras on both models.
Also, Re/Code reported yesterday that Apple will also be introducing the much anticipated “iWatch” wearable device at the September 9th event.
