Tom Hanks has numerous accomplishments on his resume, actor, producer, writer, comedian, director, transvestite, (Bosom Buddies), and now app developer. As Hanks new app, Hanx Writer – an amazing typewrite simulator – makes it’s debut for the iPad, Apple’s App Store Twitter account today conducted an interview with Hanks via Twitter.
From the “Hanx Writer” App Store Page:
Behold, Hanx Writer, created by Tom Hanks. Hanx Writer recreates the experience of a manual typewriter, but with the ease and speed of an iPad.
“With Hanx Writer, you’ll hear the rhythm of your work with SHOOK SHOOK or FITT-FITT.” – Tom Hanks
The app – the result of collaboration between Hanks and the app development studio Hitcents – is surprisingly functional, and allows you to share documents you create via email, AirDrop, printer, and more.
Hanx Writer is available FREE for the iPad in the App Store. (The app does offer in-app purchases.) [DIRECT LINK]
