Apple has announced on its Investor Relations webpage that it has set July 22nd as the date for its Fiscal Q3 2014 earnings call. It will be the first such event for the company’s new CFO, Luca Maestri, since he officially took over the role of CFO. The call will take place at 2:00PM Pacific / 5:00 PM Eastern time.
Apple CEO Tim Cook is also expected to take part in the conference call, which will discuss the company’s performance in the three-month period ending in June.
AppleInsider notes that while Maestri was indeed present for the April earnings call, he was acting as Corporate Controller under then-CFO Peter Oppenheimer. Maestri was officially given the CFO post in May, and was added to the Apple leadership roster in June.
In addition to its earnings, Apple is expected to discuss the effects of its recent 7-for-1 stock split earlier this month. The split – intended to make AAPL shares more accessible to smaller traders – saw the stock begin at an adjusted $92.69 share price, and since then pricing has proven to be relatively stable, closing on Monday at $92.93.
A live stream of the phone call will be available on Apple’s investor webpage, and MacTrast will provide coverage of the call, starting at 5PM Eastern time on July 22nd.
