Withings has debuted a new activity tracking smartwatch that may be the most beautiful activity tracking watch ever made. The Activité comes with a variety of tracking software inside of it that allows you to track your activities and sleep quality, while looking good. Looking damn good.
The Activité features Connected Movement, which ensures long-term accuracy and procession. There’s an accelerometer and tracker that monitors one’s various daily activities and calculates related info like calories burned and how much distance one has traversed throughout the day.
The smartwatch can also monitor the wearer’s sleep quality by picking up patterns such as how long it takes for the wearer to fall asleep, and to enter a deep sleep. The watch also has a built-in vibrating alarm to wake you up once you do fall asleep, and includes an automatic switch that knows when to be in active and sleep modes.
As can be expected, there is an accompanying app, the Withings Health Mate app, which can setup activity plans, allow you to share your information, track personal goals… You know, the usual.
The Activité uses standard watch batteries, which allows the watch to run about a year between battery changes.
The Activité is constructed with Sapphire glass and touch screen, stainless steel 316L, has a leather strap made from Tanneries Haas, and will be available in both black and silver.
The Withings Activité smartwatch will be available from the company’s website and via other retailers some time this Fall for $390 USD.
