Safari Push Notifications Now Available From MacTrast

If you use Safari as your web browser, on a recent visit to our site you probably received a notification asking if you’d like to receive push notifications from MacTrast. By agreeing to allow them, you’ll be among the first to know about any breaking news about Apple-related news.

The notification above appears if you’re visiting MacTrast for the first time since we activated push notifications on the site. If activated, Push Notifications from MacTrast will appear in the Notification Center of your Mac if it is running OS X Mavericks or above.

Push Notifications can be turned off by going into “Preferences…” -> “Notifications” on your Safari browser. But of course, we hope you’ll leave it turned on for MacTrast, so we can notify you when we have breaking news about your Mac or iOS devices.
