I recently had the opportunity to check out VOXOA’s VXH330 wireless stereo headphones. I’ll tell you right up front, these headphones are some of the best sounding headphones that I’ve ever tried in their price range. The sound reproduction is excellent, and the sound was great no matter what I was listening to.
VOXOA’s VXH330 wireless stereo headphones come nicely packaged with a Micro-USB charging cable, (you need to supply your own charger), a 3.5mm line-in cable for use with non-Bluetooth or non-NFC capable devices, and a very nice carrying pouch. (Manufacturers note: You always get bonus points if you include a carrying pouch in the box.)
The VXH330’s come in either black or white. I reviewed the black model. The headphones are constructed of durable plastic, and the over-the-ear speakers are nicely padded for comfort. The headphones also fold easily for storage in the included pouch.
I charged the VHX330’s a few hours before attempting to use them, as was suggested in the user’s manual. I then turned them on, holding the power button for a few seconds until the power light began to flash between blue and red, indicating the headphones were available for pairing. I was then able to go into the Bluetooth menu on my iPhone 5s, find the headphones listed there, then tapped to pair, and I was ready to listen to some music. (Note: I also paired the headphones with my iPad Air, and 2011 MacBook Pro. Both paired quickly and easily. I don’t own a device with NFC pairing capabilities, so I was unable to try the NFC feature.)
Listening to music was a pleasure through the VOXOA VXH330 wireless stereo headphones. Any type of music I listened to via the headphones was reproduced clearly and cleanly. All genre’s of music sounded great. I also listened to my favorite podcasts via the headphones, and all conversation was reproduced crystal clear.
I also tried listening to the same range of both music and talk through the headphones while connected directly to the test devices via the included 3.5mm cable, and again, everything sounded great.
The VOXOA VXH330 headphones also include a built-in mic for use during phone calls, or other speech-related uses. I found that many times, parties on the other end of the call occasionally had issues hearing me, requiring me to speak much louder. As I live in the wilds of middle Tennessee, that may more of a a strike against my cellular provider, and not the headphones themselves.
I would highly recommend the VOXOA VXH330 wireless stereo headphones to anyone looking for excellent sound reproduction at a reasonable price. The construction and performance of the headphones are top-notch, and they are well worth a look for anyone looking for great sound reproduction with a price tag that won’t drain your bank account.
