Back in August of 2013, we gave you a peek at Persona Mail, a unique email client that promised to change the way you think about email. Well, its taken them awhile, but the developers behind Persona have debuted Persona Mail for iPad in the iOS App Store.
Persona is a social network-like email experience that allows you to manage message threads with your contacts quickly and easily. Messaging threads are presented as ongoing conversations with your contacts, groups such as friends or coworkers.
Persona allows users to view their emails in one of three ways.
PEOPLE VIEW
People view allows you to group emails between you and another person.
CONVERSATION VIEW
Conversation view allows you to focus on the discussions between individuals by grouping messages received, messages sent and attachments received by chosen individuals.
ATTACHMENT VIEW
Attachment view provides you with the revolutionary ability to gain a bird-eye view of all attachments received via email.
Persona also supports quick reply, full screen compose mode, has a speedy search function, allows you to prioritize your email stream, and even use Gtalk to call a contact with the tap of a button.
Persona Mail supports most of the major email providers: Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, AOL, and more.
