Apple Releases OS X 10.9.4 Update – Includes Wi-Fi Fixes, Safari 7.0.5, More

Right on the heels of an update to iOS 7.1.2, Apple has also released an OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 update for Mac users. The update contains numerous fixes, including stability and security fixes, a fix for a Wi-Fi issue that prevented some Mac from automatically connecting to known networks, and Safari 7.0.5.

The update fixes includes:

  • Fixes an issue that prevented some Macs from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks
  • Fixes issue causing the background or Apple logo to appear incorrectly on startup
  • Improves the reliability of waking from sleep
  • Includes Safari 7.0.5

The build number is 13E28.

The update is available via the Update tab in the Mac App Store.

Note: 9to5Mac reports Apple has released Apple TV software version 6.2 (build number 11D257c) without any major changes.
