Apple Seeds First OS X 10.9.4 Beta to Developers and AppleSeed

Following the recent public release of the 10.9.3 update to OS X Mavericks, Apple has now begun seeding the first beta of their next Mavericks update, OS X 10.9.4, to developers, as well as members of AppleSeed. Apple recently opened up OS X Mavericks beta access to the general public as well, looping anyone with interest into the AppleSeed program for Mavericks.

While its unclear exactly what has changed in OS X 10.9.4, it is likely focused primarily on bug fixes, and should address such issues as the mounting 4K display issues plaguing Mac Pro users. Apple is expected to reveal the next major version of Mac OS, OS X 10.10, at their developer conference next week, and will likely issue a beta to developers at or around their keynote address.

The update is available now for users of previous OS X Mavericks betas, and through AppleSeed emails that Apple sends to eligible testers.
