Apple Launches 8GB iPhone 5c in Numerous New European Countries

Apple has launched the 8GB iPhone 5c in a number of European countries today. Apple’s online stores in Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, the Czech Republic, and other countries are now selling the device.

9to5Mac first noticed that Apple’s colorful smartphone was now available in the new countries, and noted that the device will run €549 for the 8GB variant for customers in the Netherlands, a saving of €50 compared to the 16 GB model which sells for €599. The Czech Republic store offers the 8GB model for 13 490,00 Kč, Italy offers it for €579, with other stores offering it for roughly the same amount.

MacRumors readers have spotted the 8 GB iPhone 5c as also available through Apple’s Online Stores in Ireland, Portugal, Austria, Spain, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Hungary, and Luxembourg.

Apple first introduced the 8GB model in March, in the UK, France, Germany, Australia and China. The device remains unavailable in the U.S.
