Apple had a busy day today, as in addition to iOS 7.1, they also released a new version of their Remote app for iOS. The update, version 4.2, allows users to browse previously purchased movies and TV episodes from the iOS app for playback on the Apple TV.
The update also allows the Remote app to control iTunes playback on the Apple TV from iOS.
What’s New in Version 4.2
This update includes the following improvements:
- You can now control iTunes Radio on your Apple TV
- Browse your purchased movies and TV shows in the app and play them on Apple TV
- Additional bug fixes and stability improvements
